The Township of Lucan Biddulph, the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA), and Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) have partnered for a second year to make native trees available and affordable for Lucan Biddulph residents through the Tree Power program.

There will be 250 trees available, all for $30 each. Orders will open online on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The trees will be available for pick-up on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12 p.m. noon to 2 p.m. at the Lucan Public Works Building at 34363 Saintsbury Line in Lucan.

Lucan Biddulph Mayor Cathy Burghardt-Jesson said "The Township of Lucan Biddulph is proud to once again take part in the UTRCA’s Tree Power Program this October. Planting trees is a simple yet powerful way we can support a healthier environment, enhance our community’s green spaces, and contribute to long-term sustainability. Programs like Tree Power not only provide immediate benefits to residents but also ensure that future generations will enjoy a greener and more resilient Lucan Biddulph.”

Rob Davies, UTRCA Forestry and Restoration Supervisor said " ... the UTRCA and ABCA are very happy to return for a second year of the Tree Power program and continue this partnership with Township of Lucan Biddulph. It’s a great way to provide residents with affordable trees."
