Notice – Fishing closed temporarily from April 29-May 3, 2025

Fishing, at Morrison Dam Conservation Area east of Exeter, is temporarily closed from Tuesday, April 29, 2025 until Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 8 a.m.

This closure is to help preserve the Rainbow Trout that are stocked for the Exeter Lions Club’s 39th Annual Trout Fishing Derby.

This temporary closure is meant to improve the angling experience for the young people who are participating in this longstanding community event.

The partners involved in this project wish to enhance the outdoor experience for participants, recognizing that positive outdoor experiences help to foster new generations of stewards of our soil, water and wildlife habitat.
